New Year's Eve

We did our traditional lunch at Swingers then kiss on the Santa Monica Pier at noon (a toddler friendly version of New Years). Allen and I first kissed on New Year's Eve 3 years ago on the Santa Monica Pier.

Our two year tradition of having Emily and Alex spend the night.

Alex's customized mask (the nose covering bothered him) so he made it Green Lantern Style.

Christmas

We surprised the kiddos with stockings on Christmas morning then we went to my sister, Cathy's house for cousin gifts and yummy food.

Allen's mom made the stockings for me at Thanksgiving.

Christmas Eve

We went out to our traditional Chinese dinner on Christmas Eve with the Sadowsky's and my parents. Santa visited and delivered a wood toy train, which Ryan loves.

 We opened Christmas gifts from friends, family and Santa before we left for Camarillo to spend the night.

Temple Lights

We met Cathy's family at Souplantation then we went to the temple to view the lights.

Rudy's - Texas BBQ

Rudy's BBQ is one Allen's favorite places when he lived in Austin. One opened 20 minutes from his parents house, so we went while Ryan napped at home under Grandma's watch.

 Everything is sold like a meat market.....notice no plates just wax paper.

 Texas BBQ has sides of white bread, pickles and onions.....btw Texas BBQ is normally smoked and they eat brisket instead of tri tip.

Yeah, it's a gas station/restaurant but oh so good!!

Allen's Family

My last time flying pregnant!! My next trip to Texas will be the first time not being pregnant in Texas. Allen's brother, Matt, lives near San Antonio and they came over for Thanksgiving. We did a family trip to see the property where Allen's parents will be building a new house.
