Fourth of July

Our friends Jared and Shawna had a great Fourth of July BBQ then we went to the cliffs in Playa del Rey to watch the fireworks from Marina del Rey. We had a great time, a great view and great friends. It was great avoiding all the traffic from Marina del Rey.


 The scab on Ryan's forehead was acquired during Allen's watch. Ryan fell bending over a curb. It was his first bleeding injury and I was a bit emotional when I first saw him.
Someone's head is blocking the fireworks in the picture but it was great view.

Very patriotic family, wearing your shirts! First of many bleeding injuries. That is the hardest part of being a mom...seeing your kids get hurt. (some injuries, and close calls haunt me)
