no more excuses

Saturday will be 6 weeks until I get married. I haven't worked out or been very active for a month plus. I have no time left to procrastinate!! Please share your ideas and suggestions for workouts as well as eating healthy.

I already cancelled our plans to go out tonight and I'll cook instead. We're going to the Dodger game on Monday and no dodger dogs for me!!

I like the picture. Good luck. I will be reading other people suggestions for eating healthy because i have already eaten a bunch of chocolate for breakfast this morning. I am no help in that department.
Brett has been losing a bunch of weight just by doing the basics. He goes to the gym a couple times a weeks and I pack healthy lunches for him at work. You are going to look beautiful in your dress!

okay. so i think i've finally figured it out.

here's the trick. stay full...but only with healthy things. like cucumbers. yogurt. almonds and red bell peppers and hummus

always have lettuce chopped and waiting for you. i've been eating every two hours something.

special tricks are protein bars and crystal light! go visit trainermomma.com. she rocks.

but i've been eating grape nuts and lets just face it, grape nuts taste like rocks. but with raspberries or strawberries i can choke them down. i'll do it with you.

you will be the most gorgeous bride, allen totally scored! you are hot!

Have an apple a day and a handful of almonds. Have a banana for breakfast. Work out everyday except Sunday. Join weight watchers. Eat meat, vegetables and salad for dinner. No side dishes. Keep no sweets in the house and if out and want sweets try to only have a little bit. Have a sandwich for lunch and drink a lot of water all day long.

Hey Sara! Just to add my two cents! I had a meal plan done by a trainer once...It consisted of one cup oatmeal for breakfast with once scoop of whey protein mixed in and once cup orange juice...lunch was 4 oz chicken 1/2 cup brown rice and a salad with tomato and onion and spinach...for a snack in between lunch and breakfast was 15 almonds same in between lunch and dinner...then dinner was 4 oz of chicken a small spinach salad and a spear of steamed broccoli...then before bedtime if you are starving a 1/2c cottage cheese. We also did workouts with weights continuous meaning no break in between except for running to the next station we used a jump rope too this entire routine was 30 min 3 times a week and were supposed to run 30 min the other days... Anyway you look great and everything will be perfect! Lot lof Love! Oh yeah we could have either one banana or 1 cup of berries with our morning almonds. :) Have fun!

Count calories, losing weight is all mathematical. Calories burned have to be greater than calories consumed. Easy concept, but very difficult to apply! I keep track of my calorie intake on my cell phone. Also, 80% of weight loss is what you eat, people overestimate how many calories they burn while working out and then eat too much ("I worked out today, I'm going to have a sundae"). I use a Polar heart rate monitor, it is great.
